Tibet’s spiritual leader the Dalai Lama met with about 500 Tibetan students studying at variious colleges and universities in Delhi on Sunday. The meeting was held at the Tibetan Youth Hostel in Rohini where the Dalai Lama is presently taking a rest following his visit to Sikkim and Kalimpong in West Bengal.
The Dalai Lama urged the students to study Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan language along with modern education. He said the Buddhist principles of compassion and contentment would help one lead a happy life.
