Thousands of Tibetans lined up along the roads carrying traditional scarves, incense and bouquets gave a very warm and ceremonial reception to the Dalai Lama, who returned to Dharamshala on Monday from New Delhi.
Tibetan government officials, civil services, high-ranking Lamas, including Gyalwa Karmapa welcomed as His Holiness arrived at Kangra airport. The Tibetans rejoiced his arrival because of his successful treatment at Sir Ganga Ram hospital in Delhi. The Dalai Lama talked with Tibetan Lamas, dignitaries and well-wishers as he greeted them. Many well-wishers had tears in their eyes as the Dalai Lama blessed them and greeted them.
