Kunleng TV: Congressional Gold Medal Preview Show


The US Congressional Gold Medal will be awarded to the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet next month. This is the highest award of the US Congress, and His Holiness the Dalai Lama will be one of the few non-US citizens to receive this prestigious award. This week's "Kunleng" talks about the significance of the Congressional Gold Medal and its possible impact on the Sino-Tibetan and Sino-US relations. To discuss these issues, Kunleng host Dorjee Tseten invites Mr. Bhuchung K. Tsering, Director of ICT, Washington D.C and Mr. Chabdak Lhamo Kyab, a writer, historian and member of Tibetan Parliament in -exile from Dharamsala to the show.
