Kalon Tripa Paid Visit to Hunger Strikers and Appeal Them to End the Strike

The Kalon Tripa of the Tibetan Government-in-exile, Professor Samdhong Rinpoche, paid an official visit to the hunger strikers on Sunday to appeal them to end the Indefinite Hunger strike, entering its 15th day. Upon arrival at the site, the Kalon Tripa handed an official letter from the Kashag meant for the fourteen hunger strikers. The letter states Kashag's admiration for strikers and urge them to end the Indefinite Hunger Strike immediately. Earlier on that day, president of the All India Parliamentarian Forum for Tibet also urge them to end the hunger strike. The organizer of the Indefinite Hunger Strike, President of Tibetan Youth Congress, says he appreciates Kalon Tripa and other officials' visits, but the hunger strikers and organizers are determined to continue this indefinite hunger strike.
