Last year a Spanish national court accepted a lawsuit against the Chinese government for genocide in Tibet by Chinese government. The case is now in the process of investigation. At the center of the this historical legal case is Ven. Thubten Wangchen, director of the Fundacion Casa Del Tibet of Barcelona. VOA Tibetan TV call-in show invites Ven Thubten Wangchen to discuss the ongoing legal case and as well as growing interest in Tibetan culture and political predicament among Spanish, particularly in the Barcelona area. This groundswell of interest has led to the efforts to bring the Tibetan case to the Spanish national court.
