Indian police are prohibiting a Tibetan activist from leaving the Indian town of Dharmsala during a visit this month by Chinese President Hu Jintao.
President Hu is to arrive in New Delhi for a four-day visit November 20th, and Indian officials are working to prevent any protests.
Police in Dharmsala have ordered activist Tenzin Tsundue to stay in Dharmsala until the Chinese president leaves the country.
Tsundue has protested China's occupation of Tibet during previous visits by high-ranking Chinese officials.
