Talk to VOA: China Blocked Tibetan Writer's Chinese Language Blogs

Chinese authorities have closed two popular blogs by Tibetan writer Woeser. This week, Tibetan TV call-in show Talk to VOA 's host Pasang Yangkyi will discuss with Woeser via telephone from Beijing about the nature of her blogs and why she thinks the Chinese Government decided to remove them. The show will also address whether new communication methods like blogs are emboldening the Tibetan to speak out about rights in China more than ever before.
