Interview with Tsering Kyi and Tenzin Dondhon, of VOA Tibetan service , who along with colleague, Dolma Sither, took a week off early in April - flew to Denver, and then rented an RV and drove to AZ along the scenic Canyon regions and finally camping at Havasu Falls area of the Supai Indian tribe in Arizona. Both Kyi and Dondhon said how enjoyable and uplifting it was, even though hard on the limbs with all the hiking and traveling. Kyi said she enjoyed learning first hand about the life of the remote Indian village and of course all the beautiful landscape and the convenience of an RV ride. Dondhon too enjoyed the scenery, the Fall and driving (13 hours at a stretch!) and befriending an elder of the Supai tribe. The whole trip was completed in 6 short days. Tsering Kyi has even followed up with a fairly long account of the trip in her blog.
