Interview with Shenphen Sangpo, a graduate student in MN. Sangpo said that we need to pause and think of all that the Dalai Lama has done for Tibetans and for the world, and be thankful. He said that he feels most fortunate to have met the Dalai Lama in person, and the opportunity to befriend fellow Chinese students to foster a better understanding, that the Dalai Lama was appreciative of. For Sangpo, after hearing about the Dalai Lama only from his parents when he was in Tibet, and receiving all the anti-Dalai Lama propaganda from the Chinese government, to finally coming to the U.S. and seeing him in person, which dispelled all the doubts, was definitely a dream come true.
