Interview with Chodak Lekshey, from Philadelphia and Thupten Dadrak, MN. Lekshey says that Philadelphia has been observing Thanksgiving for the last 90 years, and what he appreciates alot is the annual parade of diverse culture and people, with the young folks looking forward to the sales on black Friday and the get together with family and friends on Thanksgiving day. He agrees that this is a time for counting one's blessings and being grateful. Dadrak, who has been in the U.S for a long time, talks about the tradition of Thanksgiving, and the positive changes he is seeing in observing Thanksgiving, “especially pardoning of a Turkey by the Presidents since George W. Bush’s time. He considers that presidential gesture as showing respect for life.
