North American-Tibetan Voter Registration up by 30%

Interview Ngawang Yonten, Assistant Election officer in North America, for the 2015-16 Tibetan Sikyong and Chitue Elections. Yonten said that another phase of the upcoming elections of October 2015 and March 2016 is over since the Voter registration is completed. He said that this year the voter registration saw an increase of 30% from the year 2011. He also said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among Tibetans for the election but also quite a bit of misinformation and misunderstanding of the process.
