Interview with Dr. B. Tsering, Principal of the Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education (DLIHE) based in Bangalore, India. Tsering said that since the recognition of the Institute by the Mysore University, they have introduced three different degree courses, in BA, B.Com, and BCA (computer education) as well as four-year degree courses in Tibetan and Chinese language programs. She said that the students are mostly Tibetans, but there is a provision to admit other ethnicities including Indians and Bhutanese. Dr. Tsering said that the Institute welcomes volunteers and interns to help with all kinds of academic and co-curricular activities, and will begin its new session on June 2, 2014.
