The Dalai Lama inaugurates the newly refurbished exile Parliament building in Gangchen Kyishong, Dharamsala, North India on March 11, 2014.
After opening the plaque and the knots on the door, the Dalai Lama toured the new building and graced the first day of the 7th session of the 15th Parliament.
He briefed the gathering about his main focus after retirement. While talking about the success of the exile administration, he recalls the old staffs who have put great effort and asked the youngster to remember their gratitude.
The Dalai Lama also stressed the Parliamentarians the need to put every effort to help the Tibetans inside, and said no compromise should be made on the 6 million Tibetan people.
The Nechung monastery offered a life long puja to the Dalai Lama before the parliament opening.
