Hundreds of Tibetans gathered at Tsuglakhang temple in Dharamsala to pray for the latest self-immolator and the victims of mining incident in Medro Gungkar near Lhasa.
Department of religion organized prayers for Kunchok Tenzin who burned himself last Tuesday in Luchu, Amdo. Tomdrok Rinpoche, the abbot of Namgyal Monastery presided over the prayers.
Addressing at the prayer service, Tibetan administration in exile head Lobsang Sangay blame China's exploitation of Tibet's environment for the mining destruction. He said that China's environmental destruction is also the cause of the increasing self-immolations.
