20 Tibetan Girls Arrested Infront of China Embassy in Delhi(In Tibetan)


On the 55th Tibetan Women's Uprising Day, 20 Delhi University students including one Indian girl were arrested by the Delhi police while protesting in front of the Chinese Embassy in Delhi, India.

The protest demonstration was organized by the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress [RTYC], Rohini.

All the girls were taken to Chanakyapuri police station after the arrest.

"We are here to raise the voice of 127 self-immolators. The Chinese government must respond positively to their demands mainly the return of the Dalai Lama," says Kunsang Tsepal, President of Rohini RTYC in Delhi.
