CTA holds prayer for Tsering Gyal (In Tibetan)

Hundreds of Tibetans gathered at the main temple, Tsuk-lagkhang, Dharamsala, India to offer prayers for Tsering Gyal, a 20-year-old Tibetan monk who set himself on fire on November 11, 2013 in Golok Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.

The prayers were presided over by Thomtok Rinpoche, the abbot of Namgyal Monastery and senior officials of the Central Tibetan Administration, both based in Dharamsala, India.

Pema Chinnjor, the minister for Department of Religion and Culture paid respect for Tsering Gyal and offered solidarity with his family members. Chinnjor said that the exile Tibetan Administration is doing its best to spread the message of the self-immolators and the grave situation inside Tibet.

He further urged every individual to take responsibility in bringing the Tibetan issue to international platform.
