Nepalese police restricted the celebration of the 360th anniversary of Gaden Phodrang, rule by the successive Dalai Lamas. The security personnel blocked the attendance of foreign diplomats, including a US official from the US embassy in Katmandu. Mr. Wangchuk Tsering, the Dalai Lama’s representative in Katmandu, says the incident of blocking foreign diplomats is “very unfortunate.”
