Tibetan New Year's Great Prayer festival or Monlam Chenmo had started on February 19,and will go for five days. Monks and Nuns from far-off Tibetan Settlementsn and Dharasala had gathered in quite a huge number. The fesitval is organised by a committe called Monlam Orgnising Board.
