Tibetan Doctor Rearrested in Kanlho (In Tibetan)
According to information circulating the net, a Tibetan doctor who is the director of Mura monastery hospital in Machu County, Kanlho Prefecture in Gansu Province, China was rearrested on February 27, 2017.
Khedrup, 47 was first arrested last year for writing articles defending freedom of religion and ethnic minority rights. The Tibetan doctor was also accused of spreading audios of Tibet's spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama’s public talk within the community.
The local authorities have yet to provide a reason for his second time arrest.
