Video of a Self-Immolation In Tibet Appears On The Internet

According to a video and comments posted on social media this morning local time, a Tibetan monk set himself on fire in an apparent protest against Chinese rule. The self-immolation is reported to have taken place in Gump County in Kardze, located in a Tibetan region of today's Chinese province of Sichuan. Online posts suggest that security personnel arrived moments later, put out the fire using extinguishers,and took away the monk in a vehicle
