The Dalai Lama began the 4-day actual empowerment of Kalachakra by performing the preliminary rituals of "preparation of disciple" on Tuesday, January 10, 2017.
As a part of the student preparation ritual, Tibet's spiritual leader bestowed the layman and Bodhisattva vows to more than 200,000 devotees from 92 countries.
