Award Winning Tibetan Film Tharlo Opens In New York

Renowned Tibetan film-maker Pema Tseden’s film, ‘Tharlo’ opened at the Museum of Modern Art on Thursday. The film is adapted from a novel written by the filmmaker himself and is about the lead character, Tharlo’s transition from a traditional life style as an independent shepherd to that of becoming part of the State system.
