Dalai Lama launches Abdul Kalam Seva Ratna Award
The Dalai Lama, Tibet's spiritual leader inaugurated the Abdul Kalam Ratna Seva Award in memory of India’s late president Abdul Kalam to honor individuals and organizations making exceptional contributions towards creating a stronger India, as envisioned by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam at the Music Academy in Chennai, where he urged the youths to follow the footsteps of the late president, on November 9, 2015.
