U.S. India and China Relations in the Context of Obama’s India Visit

During President Barack Obama’s landmark India visit, he and India’s Prime Minster were able to sign a number of trade, military, and security deals. During the visit, the two leaders released a U.S.-India Joint Strategic Vision for the Asia-Pacific and Indian Ocean Region that calls on all parties to avoid the threat or use of force and pursue resolution of territorial and maritime disputes through all peaceful means, in a clear reference to China’s aggressive behavior in the region. Table Talk looks at the U.S. India and China relation in the context of Obama’s India maiden and China’s reaction to it.
