Interview with Tenzin Palkyi, Assistant Program Officer for Asia at NED, and a former researcher for TWA. Palkyi said that as Tibetans celebrate the 55th Democracy day and the 30th anniversary of revival of Tibetan Women’s Association, it is important to assess the culture of democracy in the Tibetan exile community, and that there is concerted effort to develop and implement democratic rights and practices over all these years.
