Self Immolator Jamyang Phelden Passed Away
Jamyang Palden, who self-immolated himself on March 14th this year passed away on Saturday at his room in Rebkong monastery.
After his self-immolation protest over the China's repressive policies in Tibet, he was taken to a Chinese hospital, but local people and monks brought him back to his monastery.
Tsewang Dorjee from Rebkong who has close contacts in Tibet said Jamyang Palden lost all his apepite few months earlier which severly deteriorated his health.
