Tibetan Women’s Association (TWA) organized a two-day workshop on Monday and Tuesday in Dharamsala to prepare 65 participants from 30 different regional chapters of TWA from India and Nepal for a first ever "Kalon Tripa Mass Mock Election."
The mock election on July 6 is aimed at encouraging higher voter turnout for the 2011 election of the next prime minister of Tibetan government-in-exile.
Dolkar Lhamo Kirti, the TWA president, said that 100,000 people are expected to participate in the mock election to gear up for the Kalon Tripa Election.
