The Tibet Fund based in New York is collaborating with the Institute of Buddhist Dialectic in Sarah, Dharamsala, North India in organizing a month long summer Tibetan study program for Tibetan youths residing in the United States and Canada from July 1 to July 31, 2014.
Mr. Lobsang Nyandak, Executive Director of the Tibet Fund says that the objective of the program is to provide an opportunity to young Tibetans, born or brought up in the West to learn about Tibetan culture, history, and the community in exile.
The students are expected to gain an understanding of their cultural heritage, while engaging in the challenges that faces the exile Tibetan community through this program.
