Tibetans in Delhi observed the 53rd anniversary of re-establishment of Men-Tsee-Khang (Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute) in exile at the Tibetan Colony in Majnu-ka-Tilla, Delhi, India on March 26, 2014.

Dr. Tashi Yangphel popularly known as "Ladakh Amchi" who was involved in the re-establishment of Tibetan Medical Centre in 1960 was a special guest to the function.

Dr. Yangphel has republished over 250 original Tibetan medical and astrological texts in India.

Chief guest Mr. Lekey Dorjee, representative of the Department of Home of the Central Tibetan Administration, and others including the member of Tibetan Parliament, Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok and the Secretary of Bureau Office of the Dalai Lama, Mr. Tsewang Phuntsok were present.
