Officials from India and China are beginning two days of talks in Beijing on resolving a border dispute.

Indian National Security Adviser J.N. Dixit will meet with Chinese Senior Vice Minister Dai Bingguo. Mr. Dixit will also meet with Prime Minister Wen Jiabao.

India accuses China of occupying about 38,000 square kilometers of territory in Kashmir, while Beijing accuses India of possessing some 90,000 square kilometers of Chinese territory in its Arunachal Pradesh state.
