The Kyirong Jowo བརྙན་འཕྲིན།

One of the three holy Buddha statues that were brought to Tibet in the 8th century, the Kyirong Jowo escaped the mass destruction and pillaging of religious statues and paintings that took place in the 1950s and 1960s in Tibet. Kunleng invites Gelong Topgyal, who accompanied the statue into exile, and Lopon Sopa, a senior teacher at Zongkar Choede monastery.
