Tibetan Parliament-in-exile Begins Its Sixth Session བོད་སྐད།

The 6th Session of 14th Tibetan Parliament- in-exile has begun on September 8, morning by paying tributes to all those Tibetans who sacrificed their lives and are undergoing suffering under repressive Chinese policy in Tibet.

The present session, which will continue until September 16, discuss the efforts of the Tibetan Solidarity Committee which is leading all the activities in the exile community. Majority of the Parliament members were present. On this first day of the session, a delegation of the United Kingdom's Parliament attended the morning session in the visitors gallery and were welcomed by the session after giving brief introduction by the Speaker Karma Choephel.
