Kunleng TV: Conference for an Independent Tibet

| |

Last week a group of Tibetan and Indian activists gathered in the Indian capital to promote Tibetan independence. Critical of the Indian government's policy on Tibet and the Tibetan government-in-exile's Middle Way approach, organizers of the gathering advocate unconditional independence for Tibet as the only way forward to resolve the issues confronting Tibetans. This week's Kunleng program hosts a lively discussion on the conference and its implications for Tibetans.

Kunleng is simulcast on television via satellite, on shortwave radio, and via the Internet in real time. Tune in every Wednesday at 1400-1500 UTC, 10:00 pm - 11:00 pm Lhasa time.
