Tibet's spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama inaugurated the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Delhi Tibet House and the Centenary of Tibetan Medical Center (Men-Tsee-Khang) and gave a public talk on "Meaning of Life and Secular Ethics" to a gathering of around 10,000 people at Thayagraj stadium on December 9, 2016.
The Nobel Laureate also launched the Masters Course in Nalanda Buddhist Philosophy and released publications of Men-Tsee-Khang.
Shri Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Government of India; Shri Najeeb Jung, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi; Ven. Karma Gelek Yuthok, Minister of Religion and Culture, Central Tibetan Administration were among the guests of the function.
