People’s Movement for Middle Way's Bike Rally Reaches Delhi


ཐད་ཀར་ཕབ་ལེན་གྱི་དྲ་འབྲེལ།

A group of bikers from Bylakuppe Tibetan settlement, South India on their way to Dharamsala, where the Central Tibetan Administration is based were given a warm welcome at the Samyeling Tibetan Colony upon reaching Delhi on the evening of October 9, 2016.

The mission of the bikers were to spread the Tibetan issue among Indian public. The representative of the Dalai Lama in New Delhi, Mr. Ngodup Dongchung was the chief guest, and Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, the deputy speaker of Tibetan parliament in exile was present as a special guest.

The bike rally, organized by the People’s Movement for Middle Way, regional branch in Bylakuppe, began their mission on October 2 and reached Delhi after traveling over 2500 kilometers passing through Indian cities of Nagpur, Bhopal, Gwalior, and Agra among many others.
