The Chief Election Commissioner of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile, along with two additional Election Commissioners held a press conference explaining the rules and regulations, and possible penalties of the upcoming Sikyong and Tibetan Parliamentary elections.
The press conference was held at the Lhakpa Tsering hall of TCV School, where Chief EC Shosur Sonam Choephel, urged the Tibetans to avoid circulating false propaganda materials or baseless anti-campaign attacks on social media.
"To avoid misunderstanding of the rules and regulations, we are providing a detailed explanation of the wordings and its implications," said Shosur.
The conference concluded with a question and answer session, followed by the commissioner announcing tentative programs scheduled till the next oath taking ceremonies.
