Tibetan Parliamentary delegation led by Penpa Tsering, Speaker of the Tibetan Administration in exile is on a visit to Australia.

The six member delegation included Thupten Lungrig, Geshe Namdak Tsukphue, and Sonam Gyaltsen, who were received upon their arrival at the Sydney airport by Lhakpa Tshoko, representative in Canberra, Australia and members of the Tibetan community in Australia on August 23, 2014.

Penpa Tsering gave a public talk to the Tibetan community in Sydney on the need to maintain social unity and harmony among Tibetans, while other members spoke on variety of issues including the Central Tibetan Administration's stance on Middle Way Approach, the dire situation inside Tibet, and the significance of preserving Tibetan culture among many others.

The following day, the delegation attended a meeting presided over by Feng Chong Yi, Political Science Professor at University in Western Australia with Chinese scholars, members of Tibet support groups, and Tibetans in Sydney on ways to resolve Tibet issue through Middle Way Approach on August 24, 2014.
