Dharamsala-based Tibetan Centre for Human Rights & Democracy (TCHRD) released a report on the democratization process of the Tibetan exile community on Sunday, coinciding with the 52nd Tibetan Democracy Day.
The special report titled “Democracy in Exile” stated the former the exiled Tibetan leader the Dalai Lama as the “driving force and architect”in democratization of the Tibetan exile government.
TCHRD report highlights the notable events of the 2010 Tibetan election, devolution of Dalai Lama's power, and the separation of religion and politics in Tibetan democracy.
