Dalai Lama Speaks of Non Violence at University of Arkansas


Tibet's exiled spiritual leader the Dalai Lama joined a panel discussion about non violence at the University of Arkansas.

He joined the panel with Professor Vincent Harding and Sister Helen Prejean on the practice of non-violence.

The Dalai Lama told the crowd of nearly 10,000 people on Wednesday that human beings are all the same, all want happiness and need an opportunity to practice forgiveness.

The Tibetan spiritual leaderr will be visiting Newark, New Jersey on Friday to participate in a three-day peace summit hosted at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
