Tibetans Hold Candle Light Vigil in Solidarity with Rebkong Protest བོད་སྐད།

Hundreds of Tibetans, including mostly monks and nuns, held candle light vigil on 26th evening in Dharmsala, expressing solidarity with the latest protest against the Chinese authorities in Rebkong in Amdo province. The participants chanted Buddhist prayers and waved Tibetan national flags. Speaking to the assembled crowd, Dhondup Lhadar, General Secretary of the Tibetan Youth Congress, says Tibetans who are in the free world must speak for those whose voices are ruthlessly suppressed in Tibet. The candle light vigil was organized by Regional Youth Congress.
