Chinese New Year Invitation Controversy in Switzerland བོད་སྐད།

The first time ever some Tibetans residing in Switzerland received Tibetan New Year invitation from Chinese Consulate of Zurich. Tibetan community of Switzerland summoned urgent meeting and adopted a resolution, calling on Tibetans not to accept the Chinese invitation. This is the first time in Europe that a Chinese consulate send invitations to some Tibetans to attend Tibetan New Year clebration at the Chinese consulate in Zurich. Tibetan New Years falls on February 7, 2008.
