The Exile Tibetan Parliamentary delegation led by Deputy Speaker Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok has started lobbying efforts with Indian parliament members on November 21, 2016. So far, the Tibetan delegation members have met 34 members of the Indian Parliament from ten different political parties. The members of the Tibetan delegation consist of Lopon Thupten Gyaltsen, Mr. Kunchok Yangphel and Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok Among other issues, the Tibetan delegation urged the Indian politicians to raise the Tibet issues in the parliament and requested them to have a meaningful debate on it. Table Talk invites Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, Deputy Speaker of TpiE to discuss the reasons for this campaign and the response from the Indian parliamentary members to the Tibetans.
