The organizing committee of the 34th Kalachakra under the leadership of Venerable Karma Gelek Yuthok, Minister (tib:kalon) of the Department of Religion and Culture, along with Mr. Phakpa Tsering, Kalon for Department of Security, and Department of Health's Kalon Choekyong Wangchuk held a press conference regarding the ongoing preparations for the religious ceremony as requested by the Dharamsala based Central Tibetan Administration on August 25.
The committee spoke about the teachings and the preparations regarding Tibet's spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama's security, public safety, welfare, healthcare, and accommodation related concerns.
