The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts in collaboration with the Tibet House based in New Delhi organized a seminar on the contributions of Mahatma Gandhi and the Dalai Lama.
The two day seminar, "Thoughts and Contributions of Mahatma Gandhi and the Dalai Lama" was inaugurated by Mr. Ashok Sajjanhar, former Ambassador of India, and presently the Secretary of the National Foundation for Communal Harmony, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, on March 28, 2015.
The representative of the Dalai Lama in New Delhi, Mr. Tenpa Tsering was the guest of honor at the inaugural function.
Eminent Gandhian scholar and activist Ms.Shobhana Radhakrishna, Chief Functionary, Gandhi Forum for Ethical Corporate Governance; former Pro Vice Chancellor of Delhi University and Faculty of Managment Studies, Professor Vivek Suneja, and Mr. Ngawang Dhondup Narkyid, Official Biographer of the Dalai Lama were among the 15 scholars and academicians who spoke during the two day seminar.
