Interview with this year’s parliamentary office interns in Canada, Tenzin Chogkyi, Tenzin Tsundue, and Dawa Norbu. Chogkyi, interning at MP Trottier’s office, is most impressed by the opportunity and the access she obtained in contacting aids, staff, and members of the Parliament. She said that this year’s interns also made Tibet issue a focal point, and that this kind of internship for young Tibetans is in its 6th year running and only in Canada. Tsundue too is grateful of the opportunity and urges other young Tibetans to join the internship, while Dawa Norbu, who immigrated from Arunachal Pradesh, India, last year, says he enjoyed working and interacting with people in the various offices of the Canadian Parliament and found the program most worthwhile.
