The Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute, based in Dharamsala, India announced to celebrate 100 years of Men-tse-khang in the service of humanity on March 23, 2016.
This press conference was held with regards to the centenary celebration of 100 years of its establishment in Lhasa by the Thirteenth Dalai Lama in 1916. In accordance with this celebration, they will be forming four sub-committees including the finance and administration, program, outreach, and support for Lhasa Men-tse-khang
Tsering Tashi, the director of the Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute, made an appeal to all the staff members to contribute 100 hour’s worth of their salaries towards this celebration.
