Dalai Lama Meets Indian Students in Delhi

The Dalai Lama gave a talk titled "Non-violence and Moral Ethics" to a group of 270 Indian students at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Delhi Friday morning.

The Foundation for Universal Responsibility of H.H. the Dalai Lama based in New Delhi organized the 2-day students meetings and the afternoon teachings to a selected group of around 300 Indians and foreign diplomats in Delhi.

"The 2-day afternoon teachings will be on Lamrim, the path to enlightenment and His Holiness will also give the Empowerment of Medicine Buddha," said Thubten Tsewang, the program coordinator.

While speaking on goodheart and non-violence, the Dalai Lama advised the students to create a better world based on peace and dialogue.

"Try to lessen the potential of negative feelings, the outcome of killings in the 20th century. So, I often telling people that the 20th century become the century of bloodshade. Now, the 21st century should be a century of dialogue," said the Dalai Lama.
