Hundreds of Tibetans gathered at Tsuklagkhang monastery in Dharamsala to pray for the latest two self immolators who succumbed to their injuries.

On Monday, 18 years old Lobsang Kalsang and 17 years old Damchoe set themselves on fire in Ngaba. Their self-immolation brought the number of self-immolation from Tibetan inhabited regions since February 2009 to 51.

Dhramsala's Central Tibetan Administration's Department of Religion held a special prayer to mourn the self-immolators.

Prime minister Lobsang Sangay at the prayer session urged all Tibetans to remember the actions of the self immolators and stated that media attention and international support on Tibet has increased.

The prayer was presided by Kirti Rinpoche, head of Kirti Monastery and Tomdok Rinpoche, the abbot of Namgyal Monastery. Monks, Nuns Exiles leaders, officials, students and lay people attended the special prayer.

Central Tibetan Administration yesterday issued a press release holding China responsible for the chain of self immolations in Tibet.
